At Vikaasa, a child spends three years in Kindergarten before moving to Primary school.
We believe in learner -centred education and adopt experiential learning approaches.
The early years at Vikaasa are spent in learning social skills, exercises of practical living, activities to enhance fine and gross motor skills, circle time and topic work.
They also learn the English language through phonics and gradually move on to reading independently through sight reading.
Montessori equipment wherever necessary are used to enhance children’s logical thinking and sensory learning.
Children are also introduced to nature studies. Besides, we also focus on the development of the students’ speaking ability.
